ParentMail2 - for paying and responding
At SASM we use ParentMail2 to send letters, forms and messages relating to school trips, after-school clubs and school meals. When you join SASM, we will send you a link from which you can set up your account. If you did not receive an invitation, please contact the school office for support. You can log into ParentMail using the link (right):
The SIMS Parent App - to view your child's record
From September 2021, all parents and carers will be invited to download the SIMS Parent App. The app includes your child’s attendance, contact details, permissions and behaviour. This includes whether your child has received a SASM reward (such as a Good Work Bag or SASM Star). We also send assessment results to parents. Parents and carers are also prompted to update their contact details and GDPR permissions for their child using this app.
Google Classroom - for home and school learning
Upon joining SASM, all children will be given a login to access their Google Classroom. This virtual space is used by teachers to distribute resources in lessons, collect pupil responses and set home learning. You can use you child's login to see what their home learning is this week. For more information about to how log in to Google Classroom, please visit our technical support page.
The Planner
Each year, every pupil is given their own school planner. This contains a diary where they should record their daily reading at home, space to write down home learning tasks and a comprehensive reference guide to support learning. If you need to convey a message to your child's class teacher, this is a most convenient way. Planners are checked by the class teacher or a teaching assistant daily.
Need to speak to someone face-to-face?
If you would like to speak to your child's class teacher, or a member of our Senior Leadership Team, please make an appointment via the school office. Please visit our Contact Us page for details of how to contact the office.
