You have to be here to succeed
The school gates open at 8:30am and registration is at 8:45am. If your child is absent for any reason, please contact the school office immediately. Registration for pupils who are late to school closes at 9:00am
When pupils are absent, they are expected to follow their Google Classroom to keep in touch with classroom learning.
At SASM, we aim to foster pupils’ independence and many of our Upper School pupils walk home alone. Written permission should be provided if have agreed with your child that they can walk home on their own at the end of the school day or following an after-school club.

Having poor school attendance can seriously affect your child's chances of future success.
Requesting absence during term-time
Parents/carers do not have the right to take their child out of school during term time. By law you must ask permission for your child to miss school. Good attendance leads to improved outcomes for your child (please see the attendance presentation). If you would like to apply for permission for your child to have leave for exceptional circumstances from school you must complete the form below and return it to school for authorisation at least 10 days in advance of the proposed absence
